Delete your account and your data
This page explains how to delete your Flam account and the data attached to it. It is accessible without signing in, as required by Google Play.
From the application
- Open Flam.
- Go to Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Confirm.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no cooling-off period: once confirmed, the operation cannot be undone.
If you have already uninstalled the application
Write to flam@99m.fr from your account's email address, asking for deletion. We reply within one month at the latest, as required by article 12 of the GDPR, and usually within a few days.
If you write from another address, we will need to verify your identity before acting; otherwise anyone could have a third party's account deleted.
What is deleted
- Your account and your email address.
- Your stove's credentials (MAC address and PIN), purged from the encrypted vault.
- Your settings: location, time zone, time slots, preferences.
- The history of decisions taken by Flam Pilot and Eco+.
- Your notification tokens.
- What PostHog and RevenueCat hold about you: we ask them to erase it at the time of deletion.
What is kept, in anonymous form
Your stove's operating readings: temperatures, power, consumption, heating sessions, daily summaries, stove brand and model.
They are detached from your account and filed under a random identifier we keep nowhere, so nothing links them back to you. They contain neither your email address, your location, nor your stove credentials. They are used for statistics and to improve Flam Pilot's thermal estimation. Details are in section 7 of the privacy policy.
What is not deleted, and why
Data held by Apple or Google. Your subscription, purchases and invoices are managed by the platform you subscribed through. We have no access to them and cannot delete them. Contact Apple or Google directly.
Data the law requires us to keep, where applicable, for the period it prescribes, in particular for accounting purposes.
Technical backups of our database, which expire on their own at the end of their rotation cycle.
Deleting only part of your data
You do not have to delete everything:
- Withdraw usage statistics: Settings, then Usage data.
- Erase your location: Settings, then Weather, then Clear city.
- Remove your stove's credentials without deleting the account: Settings, then Credentials.
