Pellet stoves · Anticipated control

Your stove already knows when to light

Flam controls your pellet stove from your phone. It learns how slowly your home warms up, checks the weather, and lights early enough to reach the temperature you asked for, at the time you asked for it.

Head start
Ready by 7 am
You set a time and a temperature. Flam lights early enough for the room to be within your comfort range at that time, based on the outdoor temperature and your home's inertia.
Comfort that sets itself
Eco+
With Eco+, your stove turns smart: it adjusts its own flame to keep the room around your target temperature. Fewer shutdowns, fewer relights.

Automation

What Flam decides for you

One picks the moment to light up, the other decides whether to relight at all. They are the only two features we charge for.

I want 20 °C from 7 am to 9 am

Flam Pilot

You say what you want. It takes care of the how.

In the app, a goal reads like a sentence: I want 20 °C from 7 am to 9 am, every weekday. Flam Pilot watches the room and the cold outside, and picks the ignition time so the room is within your comfort range from 7 am. It is then held around 20 °C until the end of the slot. Early ignition works with Eco+, included in Flam+.

What Flam Pilot does next

  1. 23:00

    Flam watches

The room is cooling, it is −2 °C outside. Flam Pilot works out how long it will take to get back within your comfort range.

  2. 5:40

    Ignition

Early enough for the warm-up your home needs.

  3. 7:00

    Comfortable, on time

The room reaches the bottom of your comfort range — 19 °C on the Balanced setting — and keeps rising towards 20 °C.

  4. → 9:00

    Held around 20 °C

20 °C is your target: the room stays around it, within ± 1 °C with Eco+ on the Balanced setting.

  5. 9:00

    End of the slot

The stove switches off, or turns down, depending on what you chose.

A ceiling of 10 ignitions a day

Beyond that, Flam no longer lights the stove on its own, and alerts you.

You stay in control

You can take back control at any time from the app.

It's all in the history

Same stove, two ways to hold the temperature

Eco+

The stove's eco mode cuts out and relights. Eco+ modulates.

The eco mode built into the stove heats at a fixed power, cuts out at one threshold and relights at another: the room rises and falls in waves, and the stove restarts often. Eco+ replaces those fixed thresholds with a decision made at every reading: it adjusts the flame, and only cuts out when the room was about to leave the margin you chose.
